Bluetooth Headsets, Etc., the Flood of Gadgets
It is simply amazing the way in which technology completely takes over our lives. Take the example of Bluetooth headsets for instance. Initially when they were introduced in the market, their main purpose was to do away with wires in a mobile phone. It is not that we were unhappy with our wired headsets, but you have to agree that they certainly were cumbersome.
Now, though Bluetooth headsets have not been around since a long time, but the era of wired headsets seems like the previous century. But the world of technology is so dynamic that by the time we get used to a new gizmo, its updated version hits the market. This trend has been around for quite some time and is most likely to continue for a long long time. For people like me, this trend is both good news and bad news. Good news because it is making life simpler and facilitates multitasking; bad news, because it hurts the pocket. The latest technology often comes with the higher prices.
Well, that’s the eternal dilemma of the Gen X consumer!
